  I had a great week long business trip in Milwaukee in large part due to this house vs a hotel for the same price. It was just perfect, five minutes from downtown with a large grocery store down the street. I really enjoyed the regular size refrigerator, nice gas stove, huge propane grill in the backyard, and well done updated bathroom w/tons of towels. I was surprised that a small window unit could cool the whole house but it did, especially coupled with the three fans provided (never really needed the fans). Several office people came over one evening and we sat in the newly cut backyard (umbrella, table, five chairs provided) for dinner. It was my first experience to see rabbits & fireflies. • Milwaukee get away

  The location was close to the lake, beach, downtown and the zoo. Was nice to have the extra space and privacy of the yard and patio since it is not a big house. Was nicely decorated and up to date. Our host got back to us right away when we called about the gas out in the grill. Did not realize when I booked it did not have central air only the window air conditioner which was noisy. The ceiling fans helped. Over all it fit our needs and was mostly comfortable for 3 of us. Would book again if going to Milwaukee

  The rental unit was “good” overall .. Things to notate that I either missed in the description or were not as we expected:- no central air, just kitchen window unit - no dishwasher - ice maker did not work, or no water line ran to it - front door deadbolt hard to lock/open - lots of bugs in unit (moths, ants, mosquitos, firefly’s etc) no we didn’t leave doors and windows open :)- gas grill was out of propane- lots of broken down/flattened boxes spread across rear parking area when we arrived - motion sensing light/camera is super sensitive and connected to internet which is kinda creepy as we wondered if people were watching us ! - I emailed evolve three days before my arrival and tried to extend my reservation and they never got back to me (they did get back to me after I checked in and said “sorry we have been busy and unable to respond to you”- super small and uncomfortable master bed mattress

  Hi Aaron, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to clarify the following:
  - We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your overall stay, but disappointed that our home did not meet your expectations.
  - We take the accuracy of our listing seriously and can confirm that we do not advertise a dishwasher or icemaker as an amenity. The ice maker does not work and is inside the freezer vs on the front of the freezer, the refrigerator is too far away from a water source to be connected.
  - We have since had the deadbolts on the front and back rekeyed so future guests will not share the same experience.
  - We have the home professionally cleaned after each and every guest. We have never received this complaint about insects before and our cleaning services have not found any evidence either. We did find there was an issue with ants after your stay and have since resolved the issue.
  - We were unaware that the gas grill was out of propane during your stay, we wish you had reached out to the guest contact, we would have replaced it immediately as we did for the next guests who arrived after your stay and reported the issue.
  - For our guest's security and safety, we have a google security camera located in the back of the home that is attached to a motion sensor light. We did not have enough lighting in the back initially, which was communicated to us by a few guests, so we added the light to accommodate and make the home safer in the evening when guests are coming and going. We're sorry if this made you uncomfortable and caught you off guard.
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

• Close to Great Biking in Milwaukee

  This is a cute little house conveniently located in Milwaukee with some great little bars and restaurants nearby, easy access to big attractions, and a surprise for us was the easy 2.5 mile access to the Oak Leaf Trail...which was our big attraction for this trip.

  While there was not a garage, there are alley parking spots on the property. We felt safe in the area.

  The internet is spotty in the house, so we got kicked off the tv many times and had to log back in. This should be resolved.

• Cute updated house with great location

  House is small but has everything you need. Updated, clean, great location that is safe and has conveniences nearby like grocery stores, Target, easy on and off interstate 43. Owners were very responsive to any questions. Only thing I would say that it didn't have was a toaster, and a recycling bin for the inside...neither are that important and made no difference to me. Also LOVED the bottle of wine that was waiting for me!!!
