Family Holiday Getaway
5/5 We had a lovely time in this home. Worked very well for two families. Gorgeous views. Plenty of room. Well-stocked kitchen. Great location. Did lots of winter hiking and enjoyed a few restaurants. Owner and management team are very responsive. Would definitely book again.

Great view and close to downtown
4/5 The main living area of this space is very comfortable and has great views of the ferries and boats coming to Port Angeles. We loved the close (about half mile) proximity to downtown which we could easily walk to and which had multiple good restaurants that we really enjoyed. The yard area is well kept and was great for our dogs. Weather was warm during our stay, but we would’ve liked to use the fireplaces if it had been cold and rainy (but signage in the unit said not to use such).

Communication with Property Manager Lacking
3/5 We mostly enjoyed our stay, but we would not come back to this property, or any other property managed by Evolve. The upstairs bedroom was very warm upon arrival (thermostat read 82F) and there were no fans in the house and none of the windows in the master bedroom is able to open. There were no temperature issues in the rest of the house. I immediately sent a text to the property manager and sent another after 24 hours due to no response. We finally received a response late on our second night just to tell us he would bring a fan the next day. The second night, the temperature was at 87F. The fan showed up in the front of the house on the fourth day, but by then the weather had cooled down. There was no notification the fan was delivered, so I only saw it when checking out. I get there are unexpected issues that come up, but the lack of preparedness and dismal communication are unacceptable.

"Thank you for your valuable feedback. We apologize for your unfortunate experience with communication with our guest contact! We have taken your complaint very seriously and have taken action to resolve these issues already.
-In the event that a guest does not hear back from our new property manager, we have now added owner contact as a second resource to ensure timely communication with our guests to meet any needs that arise.
- As this business and this house are very new to us, we were unaware that the temperate and lovely town of Port Angeles experiences heat surges! We have since purchased tower fans (5) for each bedroom. We have also professionally inspected our thermostats and heating unit to ensure it is in good repair.
All of that said, we hope you otherwise enjoyed our home and the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to ensure each guest has a great experience with a home-away-from-home feel!"
