Quaint stay

Disappointing
1/5 On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable. But—the place needs a lot of maintenance.
The stairs getting up to the unit are killer. The banister isn’t very stable and it’s not recommended for a senior with limited abilities. The fact that this is a 2nd floor unit with stairs should be in your ad.
Additionally there is no closet or dresser so we were living out of our suitcase. And no outlets in the bathroom!? My husband found a mirror that he propped up in the kitchen so I could dry my hair, etc.
Up until 4 years ago we had lived in Shores for 18 years so we had no interest in sightseeing. We just wanted a nice, comfortable place to stay while we visited with old friends. Unfortunately, this wasn’t it.

The homeowners added the verbiage to warn future guests about the stairs and balcony before they book but we plan on adding another disclaimer to ensure that all guests can find the perfect vacation rental for their needs. Our listings are carefully built to reflect our properties in an accurate light and we use professional photos so guests have an idea of what to expect. We appreciate your feedback. This homeowner works very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy. We will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!
4/5 This property is located very close to many restaurants, coffee places, and the beach. The only downside to the location is that the street the condo is on isn’t a through street. The studio was clean and well stocked when we arrived. The check in process was simple. We also had to make a last minute change to our reservation and the owner made it so easy!
