• Perfect weekend escape

  My 2 friends and I needed a moms weekend away. This condo was so perfect for us to relax and hang out by the fire. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and we were surprised by how much space there was. The decorations show attention to detail and offer a cozy feeling of home you just can’t get in a hotel. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this place. Will stay here again!

• Neglected unit, horribly serviced - pick one of the many other amazing units, not this one

  This is the first bad review I have written, but I felt compelled given how awful our experience was. We stayed over Thanksgiving for a much needed holiday break, yet spent most of Thanksgiving day trying to get basic bedding for our stay. There was not a complete set of sheets for the pullout bed (looked in every closet) and the main bed did not have a mattress cover or fitted sheet (unsanitary, uncomfortable). It took me SEVERAL messages all day and false promises (including some lies and guilt trips about it being Thanksgiving) to get this remedied, which did not happen until late afternoon. I kept getting told that they were aware, double-sheeting for guests (which was not done for us) and 'things were on order' - which is unacceptable given that these are very basic items available at any store. Finally, they suddenly found that the new items had come after all and arrived to provide them ... however, they were not new. The mattress cover had tears and stains on it, which was disgusting. We also had lukewarm showers which they blamed on Suncadia. I have stayed at Suncadia dozens of times and never had issues with water (or any issues); Suncadia also told me it was the owner's responsibility. There was no light connected to a switch in the bedroom which gets pitch black so we had to stumble around to find the bedside light across the room (not safe for my 80YO mother). Again, I was told they had been waiting for Suncadia to install a light (which I found was another lie). I moved the huge bed to unplug the bedside light from behind it and into the outlet controlled by the switch - really, they couldn't do this themselves? The laundry machines also didn't work - I tried to dry our wet snow clothes and did FOUR full dryer cycles and they never dried. There were countless other issues I won't detail here (e.g., lacking very basic kitchen tools so we could not cook even fried eggs; puttied holes all over; broken handles, etc.), but the gist of this place is that is not maintained, well-serviced, and the owner throws out a bunch of excuses rather than taking responsibility and caring about the wellbeing of her guests. I am an extremely well-traveled individual and have stayed in huts in the Himalayas to luxury hotels and never experienced anything like this. The service provider (not owner) provided a measly $80 (out of a $1800 stay) for my inconvenience. Never heard back or got anything from the owner.

We always have a fully stocked kitchen, and we've never had complaints about the water not being hot enough. • Beautiful view and location.

  One of two bathroom lights burned out so dark in there. Oven filthy dirty so we didn't use. No usable fry pans. Washing machine didn't work. Bedroom blind didn't close. Everything else was comfortable and nice. Great view and Suncadia is beautiful.

• Amazing getaway spot, great view.

  The unit is clean, comfortable, quiet and was perfect for our 3 night stay. The pictures don’t do the view justice overlooking the property and mountains. The host was super responsive and helped with any questions that we had. We would stay at this unit again in a heartbeat. We loved the bike and walking trails being so close by.
