Ultimate in relaxation!
5/5 Our family of 4 + grandparents loved staying at the Fox Den. We have been coming to Massanutten for many years and this is our favorite house so far! The family room is spacious and comfortable, with ample seating and large screen TV. Plenty of games and books for down time. Kitchen table seated 8, which is really nice for family meals. Back porch was a dream for enjoying morning coffee. Beds were very comfortable with updated mattresses and bedding. Kids loved the game room and outdoor fire pit. Everything was perfect, it was easy to slip into vacation mode. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Spacious, great location, quiet and safe
3/5 The space was plentiful with great amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was quiet and the setting perfect. We even saw deer. Towels plentiful, dining area spacious and check-in was easy. We felt very safe. The owner was very responsive when the internet went down. Note: the extender did not work in the Master and the internet went down various times. Four of the beds (twins in basement) were not made at arrival. We could tell that whomever cleaned the place did not do a very good job. The coffee pot was not clean, the counters were dirty, paper products were not refreshed etc.. While the porch was very nice, it was obvious that it had not been touched or cleaned in a very long time. Everything was covered with dust and dirt which made it uninviting. The basement had many bugs which led one of our guests to actually sleep on the couch. In defense of the owner. I called to tell them of the issues and I guess I was supposed to call the Property Manager. While the owner was very responsive, she asked "me" to contact the Manager and ask them to come and clean. We didn't feel this was our responsibility and therefore did not. This review was put together in unison before departing. A reputable cleaning service and some bug extermination would have improved the rating to a 4 or 5.

Wonderful home!
5/5 Host was super nice and accommodating! Loved the house. There were 9 of us and we fit very comfortably! The house has a beautiful, private backyard where we saw deer. Lovely porch and kitchen! Very comfortable beds! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again! Thank you!
