Good place to stay while hiking
3/5 Good location to stay while hiking Shenandoah National Park. A little short on amenities, plates and silverware, towels, no sharp knives for food preparation, no wine opener.

5/5 The payment process was very smooth being processed thru Evolve. The check in information was received 1 week in advance of our trip. Beautiful home, we had 8 adults (2 couples and 4 singles) and there was enough room for everyone.

Spacious 4 Bedroom Rancher in Luray
5/5 This house was just what we needed with 4 bedrooms. It was spacious with plenty of room to spread out. Great location close to Luray Caverns. The house could stand to have a larger dining table so bigger groups could eat together at the same table. There are two tables that seat 4 people each; we were able to squeeze 5 people around one table, but no more would have fit. Although there were cows on the properties across the street and to the side, we didn't smell manure, even in the heat of August. For those wondering, there is no toaster (not sure why since that's a staple in most kitchens), no DVD player, and no fire pit. Loved the automatic combination lock on the front door that didn't require a key. Easy to use and no worries about losing a key. Overall, a great experience with no issues.

Not recommended
3/5 Tried calling property manager twice, once for matches for the grill and once for the garage door opener. Got a recording to call back. Counter tops were sticky. About a dozen or so tiny ants would greet you each morning in the master bath. Door knob to back patio is ready to fall off.

Luray Cottage
3/5 We loved the location and the size. The property was more run down than we expected from the photos.The light in the main bedroom did not work.One bedroom also had a dim light and several other bulbs are out.No soap or watered down soap dispensers.Our impression was that there would be toiletries provided. This was not the case.Towels were thin and small.One of the bedrooms was not made up. No top sheet.Overall the house could use some updating.
