I was looking for a spacious house in a wide open area with great views... and I found it!
We spent 3 days exploring the special terrain of the southern Utah National Parks and enjoying the comforts of home in this rural area outside of Kanab.
I was concerned about finding the house after reading some of the reviews, so we reached the local contact to ask for help. Lee was great and answered all of our questions.
I have no hesitations in giving this house a 5 star review. I'm a retired teacher, with lots of experience with grading. So in addition I'd give this property an A+!
We had a wonderful time visiting Zion and multiple Utah and Arizona parks and canyons while staying at this beautiful house in October. It is close to town and within an hour's drive of the major parks. The house is located on a working farm and is very private and quiet. A perfect place to rest after long days hiking. Gorgeous views of the farm and mountains surrounding it from the big windows or back porch. Great furnishings with all the amenities. It was very cozy and the heating and AC worked great. One piece of advice. Try to get there the first night before dark because it is down a private dirt road (almost all of the drive before the final mile is on paved roads). It is a fantastic place and we would definitely stay there again!
Our second stay at this home and we weren't disappointed. We enjoy being out of town and off the highway, this house delivers both. This home would be ideal for two couples to enjoy. Upstairs and downstairs each feature a separate living area, bedroom and bathroom. I'd like to see an armoire or chest of drawers to unpack in, but we managed. The kitchen is well appointed and had all the essentials we required. The stars at night, simply amazing!
My group loved our stay on the ranch. The property is breathtaking with red rock views in almost every direction. The home is beautifully and comfortably decorated from top to bottom. A designers eye truly paid attention to detail even down to the couch blankets. The property manager was super responsive and very nice. I was worried my friends small car would have trouble getting down the dirt road to the property as heavy rain had hit and the road was wet. The property manager came to check it out himself to help avoid a situation where she could have been stuck. Only piece of advice for folks staying here, DO NOT follow gps. GPS will take you down a road with a sketchy bridge. To get to this property from the town center of Kanab on 89 turn left on to North Cresent Butte Trail. Follow the dirt road a mile or two (longer than you think) until you see the house. Be sure to save a picture of what the house looks like because you won’t get service. Also be sure to bring condiments if you are planning to cook. I highly recommend this property for anyone coming to Kanab. At night it’s a planetarium that is absolutely stunning.

This was one of the coolest places I've ever stayed. Beautiful house right in the middle of a farm in a beautiful valley. We drove a Corvette, that was a little challenging on the dirt road but not bad. Google Maps provides bad directions, don't use them. Enter from North Crescent Butte Trail. The house is incredible. I can't say enough about this place, I didn't want to leave.
