  Took an outdoor womens group here for adventure. Bunk beds did not feel safe to sleep in so pulled mattress to floor. No air matress. Trash left behind. Dirty washcloths on the floor. Only a small amount of toliet paper left with no refill available. No hand towel in kitchen. Sent email to property person listed and didn't hear back.Location and space were good

  - We had the bunk beds built especially strong to withstand children jumping up and down on them. We believe you would have found them safe to sleep on, but we are sorry you didn't feel safe.
  - There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room that folds out and sleeps 2, so we chose not to provide an air mattress since our maximum occupancy for the cabin is 8.
  - It is of the utmost importance that our cabin is stocked with plenty of supplies for guests, as our reviews show. Thank you for making us aware of these issues, and we sincerely apologize. We now have a new housekeeper, so this will not happen again.
  - Please accept our apologies that you didn't reach us, as we are always available and very prompt at communicating with our guests. We verified that our contact information is correct on the check-in instructions you received.

• Family get away

  We had a great time at Duck creek village cabin. Lots of snow for us to play in. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Will have to come again in summer!

  The cabin was cute and overall clean. The issue were more that things were broken and snow was not cleared good at stairs and front porch and there was no shovel which should be a staple in this area. Dishes and pans were greasy, had to wash everything before we used it. They advertised a fire pit but it was not cleared out to use. They say they charge if the BBQ is left dirty and the prior guests did not burn off or clean so we had to. Had to clear a path in the porch to even get to it and was not easy with no shovel. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was very cramped and not very comfortable and the pillow cases were like sand paper. Was ok but not as great as the pictures. Directions were great so ease of getting and finding it.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  "We're glad to hear that you liked our comfy cabin and that it was easy to locate – thank you for reading the directions in the email - a lot of guests don’t and end up trying to go the GPS route! We appreciate and value all your feedback!
  
  - It's our practice to clear the driveway and stairs of snow the day before a guest checks in and before they check out. However, weather can be unpredictable and there's been an unusual winter with an extreme increase in snowfall. Therefore, it has become a challenge to remove all snow before check-in. A snow shovel is available and usually kept on the deck, I apologize somehow it was moved or hidden under the snow. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will see to it that it is located and put back for easy access.
  - We understand that being able to cook is a big benefit of a vacation rental and apologize that the dishes and pans were not up to our usual high standards of cleanliness. Since then we have replaced the cleaning company. The BBQ grill should also have been cleaned. These concerns will be addressed with our new cleaning company.
  - It's very important to us that our linens are hotel quality, I’m sorry if the pillowcases were not up to par, we have many sets on hand so that any sheet or pillowcase can be replaced if soiled or well worn.

• Great location

  Like staying there .. just needs to be dusted more . Ceiling fan in the bedroom very dusty, which I cleaned .also the back of headboard needed dusting which I also cleaned. Lampshade very dusty...Over all nice had everything well stocked. Thank you

• Lovely cabin!

  The cabin was very nice & clean. We had everything we needed! Comfortable bed and the showers were very nice and warm. Nice tv’s! Location was beautiful we had deer pass through several times. Quiet neighbors. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
