  • The Goods vs. The Bad

    4/5

    The goods:

Place was in a great location. Access to lift was easy. We just put on snowboarding gear and did a quick ride down. Living room and dining room seemed to have been updated. Bedrooms were good size and beds were comfy enough. Good fit for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers....any more grown adults would not be suitable since there's no other bed except for the couch which weren't that large.

    The bad:

Kitchen cabinets needs good wipe down. Stains from previous stays were still there. Dishware can be updated. Some plates/bowls/mugs had cracked edges. Bathroom showers definitely needs a bit tlc. Bottom of beds needs to be vacuum. I was excited go see a rice cooker and was going to use it, but realized very quickly that it's not possible since the inside pot was missing. Looked everywhere but couldn't find it.

Communication with the contact person could be a lot better. I texted her a couple of small questions like: "where is the remote control?", "is there a sponge for dishes?", "extra paper towels?".....she responded saying she'll check with housekeeping but then went MIA for the whole 4 days we were there. Just left an undesirable taste.

Trash- we had to consolidate and take the trash out ourselves...which is okay but when we followed the instructions in the text and booklet that indicated there was a bin outside of the garage, it was not there. We had to walk in the snow from building 3 to building 2.

Noise: we were on the first floor which was great since hauling all our stuff up two flight of stairs was exhausting due to elevation. However, the unit right above us so sooooooo noisy. Walls were thin..we can here their steps all night long. At one point, sounded like they were re arranging furniture.

With all that said, we did enjoy our stay.

  • Convenient condo for skiing

    5/5

The condo was clean and in good condition, just as advertised. Building 3 is a convenient location for getting to Giant Steps main lodge and lifts. The only recommendation I have for the owner is to update the property notebook with the correct/current codes for accessing the jacuzzi and other parts of the building. But Leah was very responsive to all our questions, which we really appreciated. We would stay here again.

  • Great location

    5/5

The condo is conveniently located near the base of Giant Steps main chair and lodge. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed, and with all the snow we got, it was nice to have under building parking. Our only challenge was the jacuzzi in building 3 was closed for repairs and the notebook in the unit needed updating with current codes for various amenities. The good news was Leah, our contact person, was super responsive and answered all our questions. We would definitely stay in this condo again.
