• Not well taken care of!

  When arriving at our rental there was a car in the driveway. We were told to wait outside in the 90 degree heat with my little kids until they were done cleaning. Even though we were right on time for check in. After the cleaners left, we noticed an overwhelming large about of fruit flies in the kitchen/ living room/ game area. And a film of sticky dirt on kitchen counters.Upon entering the back yard, the hot tub wasn’t full enough for safety standards. There was also debris all along the bottom of the jacuzzi. Porch was full of leaves and backyard was not kept at all. The house almost seemed abandoned in the backyard. We noticed a smell on the house. My husband checked the air filter, it was completely covered and caked with dust. I will try to upload of all the pictures I took.It definitely didn’t look as nice as it did in the pictures. Felt like we paid a lot for something that wasn’t taken of.

  Hi Hannah, we're sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - I spoke to my cleaners. The floor had just been mopped and was still wet at the 4:00 check-in. This is unacceptable, and we now have measures in place to ensure this doesn't happen to future guests.
  - I am so sorry about the hot tub water level in the hot tub and the gnats in the kitchen. I was notified by my property manager about the gnats and hot tub water level. I immediately ordered electric fly/gnat traps and a water hose that was delivered to the home within 30 minutes of me being notified. The water level in the tub is frustrating. You checked in on a Saturday, and the tub is serviced and cleaned every Tuesday, so it's possible there was debris and a low water level. We apologize for the inconvenience and have spoken to our tub cleaner about the issue.
  - The A/C filter has since been replaced, and a case is left onsite if there's an issue in the future. The filter was on a one-month change cycle, and we have since moved to an every two-week cycle to ensure this is not a problem in the future.
  - I addressed the dirt film on the counter with the cleaners, and they will now be getting to the property earlier to ensure nothing is left untouched.
  - I have inspected the house, and it no longer has a smell, and there was no evidence of gnats.
  - As for the leaves on the back patio. We had a tremendous amount of leaves and pollen fall in March. The house is currently getting routine yard service once a week, and it just happened to be that one week between service that a lot of leaves dropped and the pollen fell from the trees. I am so sorry for this!

  The house is great for families. We were visiting grandchildren so the hot tub, pool table and gaming were lots of fun. Great outdoor backyard space, fully enclosed so it was safe for my dogs. The house is nicely remodeled, and the beds were comfortable, and bedding was very nice. The only negative for the house was there was no iron and no kitchen towels.

  We were there for a n Air Force Graduation at Lackland AFB. Easy commute to the base and to and from the Airport. My next trip to San Antonio I will be looking to rent this property again.
