  • Weekend in San Antonio

    My husband and I went for a weekend get away in San Antonio we chose this property because we love old houses and their character - plus the house is centrally located close to many tourists spots. The house is beautiful and very cute decor and has lots of potential. It looks like the owners are slowly remodeling the house. We loved the hardwood floors, the fireplace the archway- it's very roomy and spacious.I wished a coffee maker was provided. A few updates to the bathroom are needed. This property is in an ethnic urban suburb - but I never felt unsafe going in and out of the property.

  • Close to the Alamodome

    I was in San Antonio for the girls' basketball state tournament at the Alamodome. This was the perfect place to stay. It was an easy three minute drive to the Alamodome and back. It is an "up and coming neighborhood", but it was quiet the nights I was there and I felt safe. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed.

  • Filthy

    Upon arriving, the property was filthy inside...the bedding was brown stained and the furniture and floors were full of dirt and hair. There was no linens or towels provided like stated in the ad. The property manager did all he could to help us get our reimbursement, however the owner of the property would not give us the amount we paid. We did not and could not stay there due to the conditions and were forced to find elsewhere to stay. We constantly rent properties all over the country through vrbo and always have wonderful experiences, this was the first bad one we had....due to the lack of the owners cooperation.

  • Confused.

    If I’m paying a cleaning fee, why do the check out instructions say I have to wash the dishes and take out the trash?Also, the entry code does not lock the front door. It only unlocks it. I came home the first day she the wind had blown the front door open. Luckily, my dog is well enough trained that he was still in the house. Additionally, the thermostat is not user friendly. It is programmed by the owner to turn down the heat at night. I woke up to a 60 degree house the first night.
