Perfect family home away from home
5/5 We came for spring break “staycation” from Houston with our two small kids (5 and almost 2) and it was a haven for us all. The backyard was the selling point and it’s a kids dream. Between the swing set and dune buggy they were entertained for HOURS. Home had good AC and was outfitted with most everything we needed. Only things that could have made the trip more comfortable is cushions for the patio furniture and a bit more to offer for kitchen basics (mixing bowls for baking cookies and things like a potato masher) but these weren’t necessities —they would have just been a perk for us since we cooked all meals at home and I like to bake on vacation! Easy check in, responsive hosts. All in all a 5 star stay!

Great Family House!
5/5 We came to town for the Christmas weekend and couldn't be happier with the house -- there was a Christmas tree for our gifts, and even lights on the house! Everything was clean and orderly, and the house had more than enough room for our family of 3, and our 2 dogs.The house is conveniently located with North Star Mall/North Park Plaza and highway 4-10 about 5 minutes away. The neighborhood is clearly a quiet, family neighborhood, with neighbors that will give you a smile and wave -- which is exactly what we were looking for on this trip. We don't have younger children, but our siblings do, and it was absolutely perfect to send them out to the playground while the adults got to catch up. The crib and baby monitor came in very handy as well since we had a brand new family member come visit us.The owner was in contact often, helped with our kennel request, and even called to make sure we made it in safely since the weather was bad. The welcome gifts for us, our son, and even the dogs were so thoughtful and very much appreciated! The beds were fantastic, too and after a 12-hour drive, we really needed them!We all felt so welcome and safe; I'd definitely book here again.

Wonderful weekend in San Antonio
5/5 Douglass, (the manager/owner?) was extremely hospitable and overly communicative making the VRBO process simple. The home was welcoming with a great backyard tree house and toys for the kids. There were even a few toys specifically for our two girls. The kids woke up and immediately wanted to go play outside. The location was awesome making it convenient to get to downtown, the children's museum, and the zoo. We had a wonderful time.
