Lake Conroe Luxury Golf Condo: Dining and Boating!

  Condo was clean & that was about it. Started out never received door code so called Evolve & was given a number to call. I assume it was the owner because he knew nothing about my rental. He then informs me he has a friend sleeping on the couch but of course he wanted my rental monies so he said he would get them out & send in the cleaner. Upon arrival code did not work. Phoned unit manager & she was prompt, gave us her code & got us in. She also brought us some plastic chairs for the “private” patio that looks onto about 4 other condos. The condo was clean but that’s all I can say. We had no tv/Wi-Fi the entire weekend. Called several times to no avail . We were told it was the cable company but everyone around us had tv but no one ever got ours to work. After numerous text to owner he offered to let us extend our stay for free if I would give a 5 star rating.! We were unable to extend (who would want to with no cable) but said we would take them up on the offer @ a later date when kinks were worked out & of course heard nothing further about free night or reimbursement . Along with no tv there was also no coffee pot ( manager had to bring us a new one.) Then there was the washer/dryer that was not working. Was told by manager that she had no idea how to operate it so basically we were out of luck. There was an iron & ironing board so we were able to rectify that. The only other thing I would say is that the numerous large artificial flower arrangements need to go! It crowds the condo which is small anyway. We had to store some in the only closet in order to be able to move! Bottom line if your condo is not ready for last minute bookings then pull it off VRBO! I have rented through VRBO for years & my last 2 rentals have been complete disappointments. Not sure what is going on with the company but I know after they have your money they’ve got you. With everything that was wrong I would have expected some kind of compensation! Hotels are starting to look better again.!

• Cute, clean condo

  I stayed here 5 days with my daughter. It's a good size condo for 2-3 people and had everything we needed. Everything was new, clean, and well-maintained. There were a few hiccups but the VRBO contact (Jennifer) was responsive and resolved everything quickly. Internet service was slow sometimes which was a problem since I was working from the condo. That may have just been a temporary problem. The location is great. This condo is the last one in the building, right next to the golf course. I enjoyed my stay and will come back if I'm ever in Conroe again.

  Had a great stay at this condo. This condo comes with everything you need. It's also located at a great spot on the golf coarse.
