  This will be a lovely home when it is finished…however, during our stay, it became comical how many things went wrong. First off, during our drive in, it became very apparent that this might not be a safe place to stay with kids. There are several very run down trailers and loose dogs (mostly pit bulls) as you drive to the house. A list of things that didn’t work are as follows: dishwasher, heater, master & guest bath sink, hot water, several light switches including no lights whatsoever functioning in laundry room, duct tape over other light switches throughout house, guest bath door doesn’t latch, all the dishes and silverware was dirty (had to hand wash prior to use without hot water), NONE of the outlets worked in the master bath, and the list goes on. I have never ever given a review like this, but I wish I had known these things so I could find a different place. The on-site hostess was incredibly kind, but couldn’t get ahold of the owner during our stay. We didn’t want to waste precious family time moving locations so we essentially “camped” at this property. Hope they can pull it together in the future. It’s a lovely home inside. And very pretty view of the lake.

  - This is a great, safe neighborhood that has had recent updates. There is wildlife, such as deer, foxes, and raccoons, in the area as well as dogs in their driveway or front yard.
  - The dishwasher and the sink in the master bathroom have been fixed. No issues were found with the heater or hot water.
  - There was tape over two light switches in order to show guests how to operate the lights. This has been replaced with clear tabs.
  - We’ve confirmed the guest door closes and latches.
  - We will share your feedback with the local Guest Contact about the dishes and silverware to ensure our cleanliness standards are met.
  - There was one light that was not working in the master bedroom, but this was fixed
  - I was in direct communication with the local Guest Contact throughout your entire stay, and I took generous measures to make things right for some of the inconvenience.
  This is a beautiful property that we’ve worked hard to redo and prepare for guests, and we look forward to providing all our guests with an excellent experience!
