  Great location! We were able to get everywhere we wanted, no problem. The house had plenty of space and was well kept. Would stay again.

  We stayed at this property for a week and thought it was great. It was a great house with nice features in a great location in Houston Heights. It was close to a number of good places to eat, hang out, pretty much anything you were looking to do.Pros:- Rooms were nice, beds were good - Spacious living area with nice TV- 2nd floor balcony - very nice- Lots of bathrooms - always nice to have extra- Location was very good - nice street, close to entertainmentCons:- Not much to say, only to be aware that the walk-up to the front door is quite narrow. Since there isn't access to the garage, this is the only way in or out, so if you're bringing anything that is wider than your shoulders, you had better plan ahead.Summary:If you're looking for a house near Houston, or specifically in the Heights, you will enjoy this one. It was clean, it had nice features, and exceeded our expectations.

  The house was clean and welcoming. The towels, linens and beds were fresh and comfortable. We could not have had a better experience!

• Sketchy Neighborhood

  We were NOT comfortable staying in this neighborhood. The property was OK, but we were honestly scared by our surroundings. We got locked out of the property, no one had the appropriate keys to unlock the door, so we had to spend $180 on a locksmith. Very unprofessional management of property.

  Owners response: "Parkes, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you.
  - Our home is in a very safe neighborhood we are surrounded by nice people and we have never had any problems or issues, we will be adding extra security measures in the future
  - The garage is off-limits to our guests for personal reasons and it is noted in the home, we will also be updating the listing. The reason that you were locked out was that you violated that policy and ignored the signs and tried to make your main access through the garage. You locked the deadbolts on both doors and then could not get back in.
  - We the owners did contact Evolve and requested a refund of the locksmith charge so that we could personally absorb the cost. In the future, the contractor/handyman have spare keys if needed.
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! t future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
