This riverfront house is in the perfect location with easy access to Galveston Bay as well as the downtown area. Whether you brought your own boat or are renting one, the San Jacinto river feeds directly into the Galveston Bay for the days you want to fish, swim, or explore!
On the night's you're not cooking at the house, make the easy 20-30 minute drive into Houston to enjoy a meal at one of the top-notch eateries the city has to offer. Some local favorites are Uchi, Oporto Fooding House & Wine, Ibiza Food & Wine Bar, and Brennan's of Houston.
The property sits directly across from the street from the Rio Villa Nature Trail and across the river from the Banana Bend Nature Preserve. Enjoy a morning jog on the Rio Villa trail or bring your fishing pole to cast a line in from the park's pier!
Some other ideas for activities include visiting the Space Center of Houston, renting kayaks to explore the river, or golfing at any of the pristine courses like The Battleground Golf Course and the Golf Club of Houston.

Great River Property
5/5 This was a great river property for our family of 6. Felt secluded and private, but still great driving distance to everything. I even got to go to Mass. Don't forget this is the river so bring your big spray for the mosquitos. Home had everything you need and more. They just put a small pool in. It was perfect for relaxing if you didn't want to get in the river. Jason was very helpful.
