This decadent Moroccan dream is a guest house located behind a main historic building. In the surrounding hip neighborhood of Montrose, you'll be within walking distance of some of Houston's best restaurants, such as Sorrento, Katz's, Uchi, Traveler's Table, and Vinoteca Poscol.
When you're not swimming in the pool, stroll down Westheimer Road and pop into the plethora of indie art galleries, vintage shops, and lively bars! There are tons of other exciting areas nearby, such as the Museum District .4 miles away, and the bustling downtown about 1 mile north.
Visit the Houston Zoo or Texas Medical Center when you take the METRORail's Red Line, or venture to Washington Avenue to hang out at Houston's most popular bars and clubs. While you're out, be sure to visit downtown's Theater District to see everything from musical orchestras to contemporary dance!

Magical Feast of Earthly Delights
5/5 This space was a visual, textural and architectural delight during my brief weekend interlude in Houston for a dear friend's baby shower. Tim's vision for the Kasbah is one that has become increasingly rare in these times, wherein minimal/modern and neutral outposts are all the rage. The whimsical interiors transport guests to distant places and times, encouraging imaginations to spark and spirits to unwind. Amenities are plentiful and the main guest bed was also quite cozy and comfortable. The pool and poolside deck were lovely. I work a corporate job and found it very easy to allow myself to be transported away from the hive-mind and rat-race, simply sitting, drinking-in and soaking-up the place and the culture nearby. This venue is not for everyone's taste, but I found it to be exactly the right kind of magic I needed during my brief stay. Highly recommend and hope to pass through again one day. Thank you for sharing your art, creativity and appreciation of time, history and humankind with with the world, Tim!!
Cool Place - Great Funky Neighborhood
5/5 Loved it. Look at the pictures - the place could be a museum of Moroccan artifacts. Loved the outdoor furniture and pool. Perfect for a getaway and you won't feel like you are in a big city. Fabulous restaurants and shopping right there.

Moroccan Getaway
4/5 Spending several days with our 8 year old grandson and 4 year old granddaughter during their Springbreak. Picked this VRBO on a whim. Very bohemian and the kids loved it. Too cool the days we were there to take advantage of the pool, but looks just like the pictures. Note: kitchen has a microwave and toaster oven + an electric griddle in a box, but not an actual stove. We enjoyed our stay at the Casbahand the decor was one of a kind!
