Quick Beach Weekend
5/5 Looking for a place to stay close to the beach with our dog and this was perfect. Has all the amenities and is a quick drive to the beach. Owner does offer a golf cart rental for $50/day, which is really nice. First time I have seen that in a rental home in Galveston. House is in a nice community, felt very safe. No lift, so if carrying heavy objects up stairs is an issue for you, would not recommend. Only issue we had was with the front door lock. The bolt opens and closes electronically and didn't always work, when it would you had to pull on the door a certain way to get it to engage.

Nice get away home
5/5 Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well stocked for all our needs! The house is a close drive to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood. Our sons enjoyed fishing at the back of the neighborhood, and the pool is nice too! We would stay here again.

unlisted cameras that peer into the living room
1/5 Cameras on property that view inside home. Privacy curtains have been removed in such a way to allow viewing inside the living room. Sand and mold in the washing machine made it unusble. Dangerous lamp in kids room repaired with electrical tape. Not what we expected.

Hi Kenneth, we're sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- As stated in the listing, we have security cameras on the home's exterior. They do not look into interior spaces. We apologize for any confusion
- We never had privacy curtains in the kitchen windows in order to allow more light in
- The washer does have some staining, but it's clean and safe to use
- The lamp is from Indonesia and has to be connected with electrical tape, and it's perfectly safe. It has never needed any repairs
