  House has been beautifully remodeled. Kitchen is great, and house has been well maintained. Be aware…there are no curtains anywhere in the kitchen or on either side of the rectangular windows by the front door. It was NECESSARY to hang sheets in both areas, as there are close neighbors in both upstairs and downstairs apartment. Dead bolt needed to be used in order to keep front door shut, otherwise it would open. Seating is limited in living room area if you have more than 3 in your party. Communication with property manager was good.

• Beautifully updated home, but there are issues.

  My intent with this review is total transparency, as we had some great things to note, and some that were not so great. On the positive side: * This is a beautifully updated home with remodeled kitchen and baths. The pictures are a great indication of how well the home has been updated. * The dining room is lovely with a big table, 6 chairs and a beautiful chandelier.* The home has a secure yard with a gate, which allows you to pull your car into the back and have the added security of closing the gate behind you rather than leaving your car out on the street or driveway, unprotected. The negatives we experienced: * From the moment we turned on the lights, roaches (or palmetto bugs, as the owner called them) were a very creepy, unsettling problem. And they were sizeable. All throughout the kitchen, on bedroom drapes. The owner said he sprays, but they live in the palmetto tree just outside the house, so when someone turns the lights on, they come running. * The night we arrived (Friday night) the air conditioner was leaking from the attic. The hallway had already been saturated and got worse by the minute. We notified the owner but didn't get a reply until Sunday. By then the leak had gotten so bad that we had used most of the guest towels to control the water, which was coming down the wall at a good rate. Once he saw our email, the owner was very apologetic and prompt about sending someone to fix it. No offer to provide more towels.* The wi-fi password that was provided didn't work. * If you value privacy at night, be aware that you can see directly into the house at night through sidelights and there's nothing that a guest can do about it. * Please note the pictures of the living area. There is a small futon and a single chair. If you have anything more than 2 people in your party, comfort is an issue. * All of the smoke detectors were out of batteries and were beeping incessantly all over - plus the attic. We had to go up to the attic to unplug them.* The only concession offered to us was a late checkout, but the cleaning crew didn't get the message and became irate and flipped us off before storming off. Great house, just be aware of the issues going in.

  This great home for family of four close to everything and I mean everything. If I was walker then I could have walked to all the places I wanted to visit on the main seawall blvd.
