  I grew up on the Gulf Coast. I’m aware of humidity and mold. But the mold IN this house was atrocious. The washing machine not only did not work, but was full of mold and undissolved detergent pods. There was no city garbage bin. I had to take clothes to a laundromat which took up my vacation time. There is black mold all over the inside of this house. The ac units don’t work. We found that out when trying to air out the musty, moldy house. The porch roof leaked so badly that water was coming in the front door. You could not sit in the porch when it rained. The windows have failed and are super cloudy. This house should be condemned. We should get more than $64 back, which the “host” gave us when I informed him of the problems.

  • Thank you for bringing to our attention regarding the possible presence of mold in two areas of the home. Our professional cleaning team thoroughly inspected the entire home, and what they discovered was discoloration not mold.
  • Our apologies that the lid of the washing machine wouldn't open during your stay. An electronically controlled faulty mechanism caused the lid to lock in place, which resulted in mold within. This was the only area where mold was found in the home. To help rectify the issue, a partial refund was provided. A new washing machine was installed.
  • There are two city garbage bins located by the entrance of the yard. These are emptied by the city weekly. Upon your request, and for your convenience, we had the bins placed on the patio.
  • We inspected the air conditioner and were unable to reproduce any issues. Guests are encouraged to reach out to us with any questions or concerns during their stay. It is our pleasure to assist in any way that we can.
  • The overhead patio cover is intended to provide shade during sunny weather days. This allows guests to enjoy the ocean that is just feet away. The outdoor furniture is for use during dry conditions.
  • A cloudy appearance of the windows can be caused when the front door is left open while it is raining. No issue could be found with the windows of our home.

• Amazing Ocean Beach View!

  We enjoyed our four day stay with the amazing ocean views including easy quick access just steps away from the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch taking in the scenic views. The sound of the waves crashing on to the beach was heaven.
