  We came with a total of 4 couples to stay at The Red Stair House and absolutely had a wonderful weekend! Loved having 4 king bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the whole place! Wonderful outside spots as well! This will definitely go on our favorites lists! Until next time!

  This is a beautiful property with a modern Hill Country vibe. From the moment you enter the property you feel special and welcomed. It is beautifully decorated but at the same time functional. The owners have spent time to make every detail in the home give the renter that resort/spa feel.You will open the door to enter through a massive screened in porch that is provided with a table to have outdoor meals or morning coffee. There is a beautiful seating area that you can relax, read, nap or spend time like we did every morning drinking coffee together, laughing and creating new memories.As you enter the great room we were greeted with soft music playing, lighting was turned on and even fresh pastries were on the table with the sweetest handwritten note from the owners. There was even a stocked snack area by the coffee bar.There is a fabulous fully stocked coffee bar, a wine fridge and other elements in the kitchenette to help make your stay more enjoyable. Three is a refrigerator available and microwave, toaster and plenty of glassware, flatware, and dishes.All four bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with their own bathrooms. Outside there is a firewire that will seat eight, while you sit under the enormous trees that have been wrapped in white lights.Plenty of parking for four to six vehicles. This is a place to come to restore, refresh, relax, and enjoy local sites and recreation. Close to many attractions and restaurants.It is important to note that this property does not have a washer/dryer if you require one during your stay. I would also like to comment that their property manager Caitlin was so kind and helpful and always responded to our calls or questions.Be sure to take time to read on the wall in the living room the explanation of "SHMILY".

• Girls Getaway

  My sisters and I enjoyed a girls getaway to Fredricksburg. Red Stair Haus was everything we needed and more! Perfect location to main street, stunning bedrooms and were welcomed to our stay with delicious pasteries and charcuterie board that you can purchase separately. The house felt like home and we are so thankful to Caitlin for her prompt attention to our needs. We will definitely be returning!

  We had a really nice stay. A few minor issues (a room that wouldn’t cool- Yellowjacket nest outside and empty propane tank in fire pit) were all PROMPTLY attended to and remedied. We do wish it had an actual kitchen, an over site in our part in review of the listing. And the beds were way too soft for our personal needs. But the grounds were great and the location was ideal! Thoroughly enjoyed our coffee on the screened in porch every morning!!
