Great place!
4/5 This was such a beautiful spot, it was very accommodating and clean. I was taken aback with the old photos everywhere. Other than that this was a great place!

Far better than a hotel
5/5 Me and 4 family members stayed 3 days at the Amorosa Cottage in the historic district of Fredericksburg, TX for the Christmas tree lighting on 12/17/22. I'm glad all hotels were booked as it allowed us to stay in this unique house one block from main street. This place was totally awesome, if not a bit creepy. I had more fun taking photos of the cottage than I did of the tree lighting, downtown Fredericksburg or even Enchanted Rock. (been to Enchanted Rock 5 times so not a good comparison). Would love to stay there again and bring a different group of people to share this cottage with them.
Everyone loved it.

Delightful Amorosa Cottage
5/5 Amorosa Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay - we are three sorority sisters who get together once a year in a different location to catch up, sip some wine, eat some great food, and solve the world's problems :) I would not say that it is within walking distance of downtown unless you are fit and don't mind working up a good sweat in the six months of summer that is south Texas, but it isn't that far either. Very quiet neighborhood. We would love to know more about the history of the home. Thank you for your hospitality!
