My family was attending a wedding and this home was so close, only a mile away. We had plenty of room for my husband and I as well as my son, his wife and two kids . Darla , the owner was very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay .

Great property! Close to lake and beautiful parks are just a short drive away. Tons to do. The property is so quiet and peaceful at night. House is clean and has everything you need. Couch made an excellent additional bed, you could definitely sleep two people on there.

We loved staying here. Truly enjoyed the firepit for smores, the hot tub to relax in after the daytime hiking trails nearby, the Natural Caves hike, tubing, and walking San Antonio. LOVED that we could bring our dogs along to enjoy our stay. That meant so much to us.A special note to dog owners. One of our dogs is, well, a princess who is very sensitive to noises. The first few days she would only snuggle fiercely next to one of us. She wouldn't play with her brother but rarely. Didn't want her usual carrot treats. My daughter saw a mechanical pest sonar thing plugged into the wall over by the dining room table and wondered if that may have something to do with her unusual behavior. I researched it and found that some dogs might be sensitive to the 'unheard by human' sounds it makes. After we unplugged it she definitely was SO much happier and playful. She was back to her usual self. If you find that your dog is not behaving as normal, you might want to unplug this for your pooch. The only pitfall, and I never did let the owner know, was that the remote control volume and mute buttons do not work on the remote control. Please let the owner know for the next renters.Again, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.Kind regards,The Plance Family
