Everything was incredible. A short jaunt to the heart of Austin, but we felt like we were in the country!! Great time. Would 10,000% stay again!!

Our hosts were very welcoming and told us to reach out if we needed anything. The bed was fabulous! Decorated really cute. Kitchen had everything needed. If I could make a suggestion: Supply a box of tissue and an extra roll of toilet paper under the sink. We ran out.

First off let me say that i truly believe in constructive critique. This is a great VRBO and has potential to even be better. The neighborhood is quiet, clean and away from the hub bub of Downtown Austin but only a 15 minute rideshare away. We literally spent all of our days away from the property and were there primarily to sleep. There is access to local markets and food trucks about a 15 minute walk away. The suite built on to the back of the house is spacious, comfortable, clean, well appointed but don't expect a gourmet kitchen. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen is appointed with everything you could need if your primarily going to eat elsewhere. Now that I've hit the good let me say that it could be even better with some additional sound isolation from the main house. There were no aggregious noises but the sound of everyday life from a young family at 7:30 am is pervasive and louder than it needs to be. It seems like it was built as a mom in law suite and there is a single door attachment to the main part of the house. Some additional sound proofing would go a long ways to a more quiet and private experience. Would I stay here again,..yes... but not if I was going to be up late at night and expecting to be able to sleep in without distractions .

I traveled alone and I normally have such an uneasiness when I do for a number of reasons. However any of those reasons that are related to my stay were eliminated. I was nothing but comfortable and felt safe. I would sometimes hear the family but for me that was comforting. And it is separate from their home. The property mangers were professional and welcoming. I would definitely recommend choosing them for your stay in Austin

The place was nice - pretty much as described, but what I wasn't anticipating was being able to hear and smell pretty much everything that was going on in the adjoining house. To be fair, it does say the rental unit is attached to the house in which a family lives, so I should have realized this was a possibility. I could hear kids crying/yelling, people talking, dogs drinking/eating, etc. Turning on the window A/C unit drowned out most of this. All cooking odors from the house were very strong in the apartment, as was the smell of a wood burning fireplace (not great if you have allergies). Also, the shower was extremely small. I'm a small person and I could barely turn around in it. If you are looking for a quiet place to work remotely or relax, this is not the place. I did not use the kitchenette or TV so I cannot comment on them.
