• Dirty house

  Very dissatisfied and disappointed with your Evolve team for lack of response to all our calls and emails. Still waiting to hear from you. The house was dirty. Mouse droppings in drawers, the kitchen was disgusting. We had to clean the refrigerator in order to put our stuff in it. Toilet dirty, bath rugs the same. The entrance and terraces had not been cleaned for months. The closet racks are loose. To top it off we saw the mouse running around in the house. Tina showed up and they offered a mouse trap🪤 that is ridiculous. The toilet in the master bedroom backed up and the dirty water was coming out in the shower apparently this is a recurring problem as the plunger was next to the toilet . There is so much it’s ridiculous. We have pictures and were sent to your email. I have asked for a partial refund and nobody has gotten back to me. Never will rent from you again and my reviews will show so.

  Hi Flora, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed we didn't provide that for you and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
  - We use a cleaning service to professionally clean the home before each guest's stay, and to ensure our high standards are being met, we require photos after each cleaning. We can confirm that the home was cleaned prior to your arrival. However, when we were made aware of your concerns, we promptly responded and came to the property to address your concerns. As a precaution, they put down new bath mats and towels even though there was no clear sign of anything wrong with the ones already in place.
  The cleaners did believe there was evidence of mouse droppings and cleaned the area, we offered to put mouse traps down as the pest control company would not come to the property until it was vacant, to which you declined. We have since had professional pest control check the property but determined there was no further evidence of mice present.
  - We have, since your stay, checked on the closet racks and could not find any issues. They were securely in place.
  - When you made us aware of the issue with the water backing up in the shower the evening before checkout, again, we promptly responded and did everything we could to resolve the issue. The plumber was not available until the following day, but the issue has since been resolved. We want to assure you that this has not been an ongoing issue in the past. As is standard in most residential homes, we have a plunger by each toilet in the home as a precautionary measure.

• Lots of little touches

  What I loved

  - Shampoo/Soap and Conditioner in each bathroom

  -A new Sponge and dish soap

  -Laundry detergent provided

  -Basic cooking stuff (pan spray, sugar, salt, and pepper)

  -Blankets on the couches

  -CLEAN

  Opportunities for improvement

  -Poison Ivy near the building

  -A few fixtures were missing a lightbulb

  -Would have been nice to have grilling supplies

  This was our first stay in the Pigeon Forge area and was an absolutely fantastic site to serve as our "base camp" while we explored the surrounding area. The cabin was clean and spacious. We'll be back!
