• Inn for a hoot

  The house could have a lot of potential! The drive up to it is not bad. we had two full size suv's that fit in the parking lot. The house was not as clean as I thought it should be. The kitchen cabinets need to be cleaned thoroughly, the silverware was nasty, still had food stuck on them from previous families. The plates were in the drawer stacked with water still inside of them. I was going to wash all of the dishes in the dishwasher before we used them but the dishwasher would not work. I had to hand wash all the silverware and plates before we could use them on our first day there. Also some of the utensils were already broken in the drawer and the handles to the pans were loose. The air filters were disgusting. I called the contact on my contract and she sent someone over to change the air filters and he brought me some dawn dish washing liquid and hand towels so I could wash the dishes. I did appreciate her getting on top of that. My only recommendation for the owner is it needs to be taken better care of and cleaned better. The only other thing was there was no bedding for the futon beds and we had to use both of them. If this place had better upkeep it would be a wonderful place to stay.

Regarding the futon and bedding, these should have been readily available in boxes nearby, and we will instruct our cleaner to ensure that this is properly arranged. • Great Cabin and Location

  The cabin was wonderful! The fresh smell made me think it must be a fairly new build. Beds are great with memory foam mattresses, complete kitchen, hot tub, outdoor firepit andbenches (yes, we actually cooked smores in December), and more television options than anywhere we have stayed! It was a very reasonable drive from Wear Valley Road. I would definitely stay here again.

• Cute cabin but lacking a few things

  Would have appreciated a few more amenities for a four night stay. Such as enough dishwasher pods to do more than one load of dishes, a few more towels, more than one trash bag, and hooks to hang up your towels after use. We could not use the hot tub as it never got hot during our stay despite being on 104. Fire place didn’t work. Not enough seating in the living room, or even a coffee table. The cleanliness was ok, but just not having enough supplies for our four night stay was the issue. Especially for the price.

  - Communication is highly important to us and we maintain consistent availability. Any time we are contacted by guests, we respond quickly to any questions or concerns. We wish you had reached out to us with any issues with the hot tub so we would have had the opportunity to rectify them so you to enjoy the home. There is an emergency number for local help that guests can call and it's posted in multiple areas around the cabin.
  - As it's standard in the vacation rental industry, we provide a starter amount of toiletries and other essentials, and once that amount is out, the local Guest Contact is available to provide more supplies right away upon request.
  - We are sorry if there was an issue with the fireplace as it is electric and should be functioning well. We will communicate with our Maintenance on this to address any concerns if necessary.
  - We did our very best to maximize the space for the number of occupancies that we allow in the home. There is place seating for seven at the table, six in the living room area, and two side tables that are available for guest use.
  We truly go above and beyond, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.

• Lots of decks

  The cabin was exactly what we had hoped for! Clean, comfortable and plenty of room!!!The only problem we had was downstairs tv was locked with parental controls. We were all adults and we could not watch some things. But that was so minor ! We enjoyed sitting on decks, visiting with family. We would stay again!
