  property manager Shana was very professional . The grass at this property which was supposed to be taken care of by the owner was about 6 to 8 inches high. Called Shana she talked to the owner who then sent her grass cutting crew up there- not to cut the grass but to tell my wife that the grass was not high. Also the previous tenants had been cooking the stinkiest crap you have ever smelled. Shana the property manager did get the grass cut no thanks to the owner. Downstairs ac does not work properly. Owner is not tenant friendly. All else OK

  From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I agree, I do have an amazing team behind me that is great with customer service. The grass was cut just 4 days before you arrived and we have our gardeners service our property every 10 days as we are aware living in the mountains is a necessity. Our gardeners were shocked by the quick request and had to confirm they didn't overlook anything in their services. They have always done such an amazing and efficient, job for us for over 2 years with no complaints. Unfortunately, they weren't able to get out there until Tuesday and your request for a cut came through on a Saturday night. I then gave clearance for our property manager to get someone else out to service the grass so that your sweet ailing dog could potty freely as I was told she was picky when it came to grass length. We strive to work as a team to provide a happy place for our guest and their four-legged friends. I am sorry about the smell, our cleaners didn't smell anything while they were cleaning the property for your visit. Had they, we would have used an OZONE air purifier that we have for just this reason. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to speak with you personally but I was confident that you were in good hands with my PM and was assured you were taken care of. In this business, we work as a team and I am glad that you were happy with the team that we have in place that services our cabin.

  The property was spacious and the home layout was perfect for our group. The location was great - offering privacy and convenience. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. However, we had some issues with cleanliness and overall upkeep. The property needs a deep cleaning and upkeep attention. Our family still had a great time because of the things I mentioned earlier and because we enjoy being together. Before I rented again, I’d need assurances about repairs and cleaning. It wasn’t precisely as represented in the pictures or description. The contact person was kind, courteous and helpful.

We were in a transition with housekeepers and have found someone with more attention to detail. You are right about representation, we have had some good upgrades which don't represent in current pictures. Fresh paint, and a new balcony, just to name a few!"

• Great location!

  Pros: House is in a great location, close to all the fun spots, but not too noisy/crowded. Layout of the house was great for our large, multi-generational family- the kids loved the game room, the adult kids enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was great having a laundry room! Bedrooms were large and bedding layout great for our group, and having 3 1/2 bathrooms was key.Cons: Everything thing- furniture, mattresses, sinks and bathrooms- is just worn out(i.e. legs broken or loose on multiple chairs, bathtubs stained and discolored, leaking kitchen sink) and ready for a refresh. Nothing so problematic as to interfere with our enjoyment of our vacation, just feels tired and in need of some upgrading.
