Our family really enjoyed the cabin. It was a beautiful experience and an amazing view. The home is well maintained and has everything you may need for your stay. Each room was comfortable and cozy. A cub bear and the racoon came for a visit on the balcony which alarmed some of my family but I loved it. The front gate wouldn't close as well, some made an assumption that it would help have kept the bears from entering the property. The wifi in the cabin is really spotty but it provides an opportunity to spend quality time with each other without phones, TV's or any other mobile devices. will return again, it was worth every dollar spent.

Beautiful home. Needs some upkeep but very nice. Outside needs to be cleaned up some. I would recommend this house to friends

I can not explain how at home I felt here! The house was beautiful and other than things that are to be expected (bugs and leaves) I couldn't have asked for a better cabin! The only thing I had a concern about was driving to the cabin. My GPS led me to the last turn onto Hulburt Drive, even tho the cabin was a little further back and the signage was problematic to see at night (not to mention the fog). If I could suggest anything, it would be to make it a little more clearer on how to get to the cabin exactly (better signs maybe?). However, once I drove it a few times during daylight, it was second nature. And possibly an inside lock on the front door higher up so children couldn't open it. My son was easily able to unlock the door, and thus the fear of him slipping out without being seen was a little hectic. Checking in was almost too easy to be true, but it was just that! You get check in instructions and simply put, you go to the cabin! The layout of the house was beautiful, well kept, beds are firm but it's something my family loves. It was hidden at the top/back part of the mountain and it was so peaceful. I unfortunately didn't see any wild bears, but my son loves the Welcome Bear at the front door that we had to go purchase our own bear to take home. It wasn't that far from the tourist strip, so we could easily leave, spend a whole day, and make it back before it got too dark. The downstairs was almost its own little apartment, and definitely a hang out place. The fenced in property definitely gave me some relief to my anxiety with having a small child with me, I didn't have a fear of him running down the mountain. The fire pit was relaxing, tho a few boards on one of the benches was broken, it was a beautiful place to sit and listen to the mountains. Will definitely stay here again at our next Smokey Mountain vacation, without hesitation!

The cabin was awesome. The location was on a mountain top but so worth the climb. The cabin was very clean. . The hot tub had no chlorine in it but I brought some due to owning one myself. Did see a bear close to the house.

This place was amazing!!! It was big enough for 10 people. All the amenities were nice and up to date. The only downside is that the driveway was washed out a little. The turn to get to the cabin is partially gravel. There was gravel and everything at the cabin and it looked like they were in the process of fixing that. The host was quick to respond and even offered to fix the couple of issues we had right then. We will definitely be back.
