• Great Views, comfy beds and a destination worth the drive!

  The good...the views from the house and outside porch were amazing! It was so nice to have space to hang out on the porch and take in the scenic views of the wildlife and smokey mtns. We had a party of 4 and all of us had more than adequate space. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. All members of our party gushed about how well they all slept. All descriptions of the listing were accurate and check-in and out was a breeze.

  The not so good...upon arrival the oven was broken and left in pieces in the kitchen.

  This made dinner/breakfast difficult. We wanted to cook dinner after checking-in so we tried to use the grill instead. But that hadn't been cleaned so it was a smokey mess with hot grease spitting out the bottom. We found one the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned and kinda left gross tbh. We cleaned the bathroom ourselves. We then informed the guest contact of all this, and they came back and cleaned the grill and bathroom the next day. However, the new towels they provided then smelled like cigarettes. After another day into the rental we tried doing laundry and the washer stopped working and locked our clothes inside. So, we waited all morning in dirty clothes for a repair person to showup as the timeframe we were given was not accurate. They came and got the washer working and double checked all the other appliances to be safe. The same repair man put in an order for the replacement oven parts. The oven did not work throughout the stay and the state it was left in made the using the stovetop inconvenient.

  One caveat, we reached out to the guest contact well outside normal business hours on each occasion. As we were visitning the local attractions and mostly eating outside the rental. So the turnaround time (expectably) on getting these issues resolved was a little longer than normal. However, all the promised amenities in working order and a fully cleaned property prior to our arrival is what I've been led to expect based on staying at other Evolve properties.

  The property is exactly as listed. Enjoyed the open floor plan and deck. Hot tub worked great! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

• Amazing experience

  This was our first time renting a cabin and it was an amazing experience. The place was very clean and had everything. Lots of towels which was perfect for the 6 of us. Very private setting. The view of the mountains was so beautiful. You don't get the sunrise or sunset directly but the view from both on the mountains was so pretty. The owner was available whenever I had questions. The pictures are exactly what you get if not better.

  The house was amazing. Glad I had read the reviews to give us a heads up about the road to get to this cabin. We wanted to stay in the clouds and that is exactly what we got! One night we had a black bear walk right up to the cabin along the road! It was amazing! The house needs a deep cleaning! Dust and cobwebs were bad. Master bedroom shower doesn’t work very well seems the shower head might be clogged up. Took us 45 minutes to get soap off our bodies. The hot tub needs a good cleaning as well. As soon as we opened the hot tub a piece of the light cover was floating in the water. You can tell they have tried to seal it before. We wouldn’t let our children play in the hot tub in worry that they would get shocked. So the kids were not able to enjoy the water feature that we paid for.
