  This was a horrible start to a vacation. We never received entry for over 1 1/2 hours after our check-in time. We had called our contact several times and had to leave a message. We also contacted her by email, in which she never responded. 14 people waiting to check in made it seem like forever. We had reached out to Evolve but they couldn’t get hold of our contact either. We tried our contact one more time around 5:45pm and she finally answered the phone. When we explained that we had been trying to reach her, her comment was “ Well I have been here all day! What’s your problem!” She then gave us the pass code to enter and I told her that everyone had been waiting for over 1 1/2 hours in the heat. Her response was, “ Well what’s an hour of your time worth?” She was very nasty and told me that she didn’t deal with Evolve anymore. This really set me off! I was so mad that I just hung up on her. I can’t believe that we were treated this poorly, especially for the amount of money we were paying for our stay! Evolve did apologize for our inconvenience and said they would credit our account for $100. We don’t think we will ever go this way again. Sorry, but this left a bad stain on your company name.

  - I was truly sorry that your group had to wait to get in, and I apologized for the inconvenience.
  - My cell coverage isn't great where I live, and I thought Evolve had the door code.
  - I wanted to compensate you for your troubles and asked what an hour of your time was worth to help come to a fair resolution.
  - I spoke to Evolve, and we agreed to refund $100 for your inconvenience. Again, I am very sorry this happened.

  We found the property to be as described on the listing. The property manager was easily accessible and provided check in information promptly. The location was ideal for our needs, very close to the Le Conte conference center.

• No power but we still had fun.

  No power in the majority of the county, but we made due for 2 nights. Owner said they will refund unstated days and discount the time we stayed.Definitely will not forget. :)

• Great location and propety

  This cabin was just terrific. It was well located. All of Pigeon Forge was just a mile or so away and Gatlinburg is only about 20 min away. There were a couple grocery stores on the cabin's side of the highway so there was no reason to fight traffic to get to the store.The cabin itself was well furnished and outfitted. The kitchen table was plenty long for the 14 of us and food storage in the kitchen wasn't a problem. PLENTY of plates (there could be more forks) and glasses.Having a bath attached to each bedroom was very convenient and helped as there were four couples. The kids shared their parent's baths so it worked out well. ALL of the light switches were labeled. It was SO nice to not have to guess how to turn a light or fan on. The main floor bedroom had a powerstrip behind at least one of the night stands so there were plenty of outlets for phones, etc. The cabin is on the same level with the parking so loading and unloading vehicles was a breeze.I can't say enough nice things...just a great and well managed property. When I texted to get the door code I rec'd a response within 10 min. And when I texted after we departed I also rec'd a fast response.
