The location is excellent with a 5 minute drive to Dollywood. The house is quirky as it looks like rooms were added onto an older home. There were lots of bedrooms with lots of beds for our big family. We had wished there was more seating in the large room with the billiards table. We never used the theatre room but that sofa or one similar would be great if that had been in the big game/billiards room. That is where we were in the evenings. The pool cabin was small but sufficient, it just needs to have some cleaning of the deck and some of the boards on the steps replaced as they seem a little unstable. The outdoor firepit area is very nice and this home offers a lot for a large family.

This is the perfect home for a family. We had 18 people and were all very comfortable. The home was clean and had everything we needed. There is a lot of entertainment features for the teens. The hot tub is a plus. We were in an off season for the pool but that would just be even better. The location is perfect for visiting all the fun places. The process and communication was quick and easy.

There was some minor issues which the manager took care of. the group that had stayed before us damaged some of the furniture, damaged the pool sticks and used up all the propane gas so we were not able to use the fire pit which was disappointing. but our over all stay was great.

This booking was disappointing to our group. For starters, the outdoor space was totally not cleaned in preparation for guests. I called the Property Manager to share our concerns and she promptly had maintenance come by to blow the accumulated leaves from the patio and the walkway to the room up by the closed pool. Thanks for the quick response. An unsolved issue was the fire pit. The required battery appeared to be missiing and the starter button was not in place or missing. During the call, the PM told me we were required to take the propane tank to our retailer for exchange at a cost to us. I could not find this information in any of my communication with this booking. Anyway, we were unable to use the firepit. On another issue, the silverware provided looks like a kid's kitchen table set. There were only 4 forks of any kind, and they were smaller that any salad fork I have ever seen. We had to go purchase a can opener when we discovered there was none. The boys loved the basketball goal, but, in general, the property was in need of serious updates. I do not recommend this property.

Hi Nadine, thanks for your review. After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
- On the day of your check-in, there was a major rain storm that washed and blew the leaves from the mountain top down along the property line. As stated in the review, I was quick and diligent as I had maintenance address the issue immediately and blow off the leaves within 30 min of the complaint.
- While maintenance was at the cabin, they also instructed your group on how to start and use the fire pit. The propane was low, but we did advise if you wanted to take advantage of longer use, they could exchange the tank at the local store down the road. In order to prevent an empty tank in the future, I purchased a second backup tank as a spare for guests.
- The cleaners try their best to put kitchen items back in the designated drawers, unfortunately, and understandably, many times guests move utensils and appliances to different locations in the kitchen. I have a large kitchen with many cupboards, and I guarantee there is enough kitchenware to accommodate over 40 guests. It may have taken a little digging, but I'm certain these items are supplied.
The owner does all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!
