House was beautiful and location was great. The floors in the house were discussing with dust balls rolling around and trash on the floor and the stoppers in the tub did not work! We have one issue with the hot water in the house ( weather related ) no one’s fault right. Well we reached out to the owner making him Aware of the situation and he acted like it was a huge inconvenience for us reaching out to him about because he was in a movie.. I asked him to call me to see what we needed to do and he was so rude and unprofessional in the phone. He started accusing us of having 10-15 ppl in the house and when we had 7 adults and 3 small children under 3! He was trying to talk down to my husband by calling him Buddy and Bro. Once we told him we were going to leave him a bad review he started acting like he cared by “calling people.” Had he approached the situation in a professional way because we know it wasn’t his fault but the way he handled the situation make me make this horrible review on this home in Knoxville. Do your self a favor and book another home because if you have to deal with the owner Dwight you will have a horrible experience!! This home deserves 0 starts all because of Dwight!!!!!

Hi Shelby, we're glad you enjoyed the location and the house! We take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We pride ourselves on hosting great stays and upholding the highest standards of hospitality.
- Communication is highly important to us. During all of our conversations, we maintained a professional interaction with you and addressed any questions or concerns that you had.
- We aim for transparency and our listing is accurately advertised. The house rules are clearly detailed on the listing and on the pre-stay welcome email that all guests receive prior to arrival. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own. Our policy only allows a maximum of eight guests and we were disappointed to find that you violated this house rule.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay and look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
Arrived after taking a hairpin turn off the highway, which was extremely unsafe at night. The location was not ideal as it was on the outskirts of the downtown area and university. The dog next door barked throughout the first night and next day none stop. Not sure where they put the dog after as it only happened occasionally throughout the rest of the stay. I arrived late and discovered no hand soap in the bathroom so had to turn around and go back out to the store after traveling all day to purchase some. The Keurig coffee maker was broken, which I didn’t discover until the next morning when I needed to make coffee before work. Replacement arrived by 11. The place was clean but the furniture in the family room was worn and dated. I paid a significant amount of money for this property and it came nowhere near meeting expectations.

Hi Laura, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We have high standards of hospitality for our property to ensure our guests have a positive stay.
- Communication is highly important to us and we maintain consistent availability. Once we were in contact by you regarding any concerns, we immediately responded to assist you right away.
- As it's standard in the vacation rental industry, we offer essentials for guest use. Our cleaner gladly showed you where to locate the hand soap in the home you requested.
- To provide a great experience, we accommodated your request to have more viewing options on the television and gave you access information to ESPN plus.
- We value the condition of all the amenities we offer for guest use. We're sorry that the Keurig coffee maker wasn't functioning well and had it replaced with a brand new one right away.
- We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the neighbor's dog are simply out of our control.
- Our listing is accurately advertised and the distances provided are listed correctly for guests to view to see if they meet their needs of travelling
We truly go above and beyond, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.
We were in Knoxville to visit my UT student and this house was great. South Knoxville is simply across the river and the house is only 4 miles from campus. We had 7 adults which was a bit tight- but the extra garage space and the back outdoor space gave everyone a chance to spread out.
