Accommodations were clean but dated , views were wonderful. when they say steps they mean tons of steps and the driveway was extreamly tight , to the point we had to unload people on the road to be able to get them out, couch on main level was extreamly uncomfortable . I think the thing that got me the most is the cleaning instructions for departure .
for the price ,Me having to strip bed linen ,wash dishs and put dishs up . as required is a little much . We probably will not stay in these situations again .
When you walk in you are greeted with what looks like a flea market booth of broke down wore out furniture and decore. Look down & you will see the place is covered in what looks to be newer, cheap, but newer carpet covered in disgusting brown stains. We had to purchase blankets just to put down to sit or lay on the floor & the couch so our family could stand to be in contact with either just to watch a bit of TV that quit working after 2 to 3 hours of use. The couch is truly the most wore out piece of furniture I have ever seen, broken down stained and sticky. Every part of the place was dirty. From floor to windows to walls, there is no chance an " in between renters cleaning" could possibly get the place clean or even close. 1/2 the light fixtures dont work so het use to the dark. The pool table is far from level, rack was broken, sticks missing tips and no chalk to be found. I Believe thats it for the living room or common room area. Now to the kitchen, same flea market feel, dishes were dirty, had to wash the plastic cups just to use them, which ended up being the only dishes we used because we avoided the cabin as much as we could. Dead Bugs on top of the microwave (1960s vintage) & the fridge. Cabinet doors crooked and overall very dated & dingy. Dining room we didnt use but had the same carpet, a table & a closet with broken doors that wouldnt stay shut. Attached to that is the main bathroom which is the main shower because the master bath does not have one. Unfortunately the dirty dark and dingy theme continues into here. Shower is half as wide as a normal shower and every time you brush against the mold covered grout and tiles you feel the need to wash again. It's just bad. Bedrooms, bring a flashlight because you can't see anything because of the lack of lighting. Where the bunks are dont expect to use the top bunk with the ceiling fan in it. The other room downstairs also a hodge podge of furniture & very dark with a small tv sitting about a foot off the ground that you cant see from the bed if you want to & had another broke down dirty couch in there too. The bathroom downstairs while dated was actually usable do to a reasonable sized area. Walk upstairs to see what looks like poop stained carpet everywhere, bedroom is cramped & bed is horrible. Running out of character limit... cords to plug things in just sprawled around everywhere, hot tub wood falling apart broken control panel. Avoid this owner & EVOLVE host.

Owners response: "Wayne, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you.
- When we corresponded in regards to the condition of the home you mentioned it was rundown and dirty, we offered to have the cleaners out again to clean up anything they had missed so that everything was clean. We also mentioned that after purchasing the home we have been trying to update it as much as possible and we are doing our best to do that. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay but we did not appreciate your attitude considering we did everything we could to try and accommodate you
