  While the condo is quite nice - new flooring, sofas and a redone master bathroom, the kitchen faucet gives you a shower every time you turn it on. Quite annoying. However, we had an issue with the dates when we booked. We sent an email to the Guest Manager Toni Chapman, and never got a response. For that I would never do an Evolve VRBO again. Why she didn't respopnd is beyond us.

• Very nice Tall Ship condo, best stay ever at Keowee key

  I selected this condo for a hastily planned trip to the lake, and was very pleased with the property and management. I have rented at the Keowee Key resort five times now for both business and vacation stays and have logged several years at this resort over the last two decades. Of these stays, this condo was the best decorated and stocked of any of the prior properties. The property owner and rental services were quick, efficient and responded real time to any inquiries I had.

  While on this short stay, I did not have the time to see many of the recent upgrades to the property (I did not play golf or go to the club) but the work that I did see, was well done and a significant improvement. I spent most of my time at and around the North marina and pool area. The docks, walking trail and pool here looked great. The resort staff was friendly and helpful as usual.

  A note on Keowee Key. This property can best be described as a country club for mature adults. Most folks live here, or are long term renters that work at the nearby University or major industries. The residents and staff are friendly, but the property is not meant for raucous good times. If you are planning loud or boisterous activities it would be best look to another for another property.

  I highly recommend this property.
