  Small but cozy. Myself and my 2 kids had a great time here. Love the lake view. Saw turtles and gators everyday. Love the proximity to the pool and the Starbucks. We would stay here again.

• Great place for families

  We stayed in the summerhouse condos. It seems to be converted one bedroom hotel suites. That helps paint the picture of what to expect as far as the room goes. The bedroom had two queen beds and smart TV. The living space had a couch, a smart TV, a small dining area and a fully stocked kitchen. They provided sufficient bath towels, sheets, comforters, pillows. They did not provide beach towels. This is not a complaint just an observation to help other people plan when they come. The unit is a little bit dated but completely clean and comfortable. The balcony of this unit overlooks a small lake that has a ton of turtles and one day a small alligator went swimming by which was really exciting. The balcony is in the shade side in the morning which is perfect to sit outside and sip your coffee and watch the turtles. The main reason you stay at summerhouse condos is for the amenities of the Litchfield community. We happen to be there the week the outdoor pool opened and we had perfect weather. At the outdoor pool there is a lazy river and a splash pad. It kept my seven-year-old and three year-old entertained for hours. We also took advantage of the indoor pool. It is only 3 to 4 foot deep which was great for my daughter because she could stand up and play. It’s very comfortable temperature and provided relief from the sun in the afternoons and something to do on the rainy days. There’s a well paved trail that people walk and bike on. It leads down to the beach. The walk to the beach was a bit too far of a distance for me with young children so we drove. There was plenty of parking and very easy beach access. The beach club had not opened so I’m not aware of what amenities they offer. There’s also a small gym and outdoor tennis courts, Starbucks, an ice cream shop, tiki bar (was no open while we were there) and restaurant (also not open when we were there). It is a beautiful community, well maintained. would definitely stay here again!!

• Truly a Spring Break

  Was looking for a place for a few nights over Spring Break. The condominium was perfect. Great location and close to the elderly relatives we visited. Looking forward to staying here again.

  Nice location and great place. Didn't get to see other property amenities, but it was a very quiet, nice place.
