Myrtle Beach cottage
3/5 We enjoyed our stay but the house left a lot to be desired. First and foremost there was no king size bed as specified in the description of the house. Most unsatisfactory!!!Here is a list of other complaints we had:Stove top is dirtyStopper in upstairs tub does not workToilet paper holder is broken off the wall in half bathBlind is broken on the downstairs back doorLack of towels for 4 adultsShortage of toilet paper for a 6 day stay for 4 peopleNo carpet or rugs in the entire house - not even a bath matLack of trash bagsBar stools are broken and very unstable Coat hook rack is falling off the wallYard had not been mowed and is nothing but weeds that were knee highBack yard is totally a disgrace- couldn’t even go out thereThere are tears in the screening on the porchThere are no instructions for operating the tvInterior needs to be completely repainted. There are drywall nail pops in every room and the molding is grossWe plan to visit Myrtle Beach again next year, but it will definitely not be at this house.

3/5 The home was perfect size, just a few blocks to the beach and walking distance to the sky wheel area and restaurants near by. The water pressure was great!The home needs a good deep cleaning, vents were filthy, upstairs toilet brush was in a bag..gross, The screened porch was dirty and needs washed, many big holes in screen so bugs could come in. The bed downstairs is queen, no king in house as stated. Yard needs mowed, grass was quite high in both front and back yards. No instructions on how to use TVs, this would have been helpful since the streaming service wasn't common. We use VRBO rentals often, this is the only one I have complained about or provided a negative rating.

It was fine
5/5 Right off the strip. Easy access to shops/restaurants and a quick 4 min walk down the street to the beach. Quiet street with limited traffic. We enjoyed our stay and the house was nice and cozy. Would rent again. Only complaints are the down stairs bedroom needs lamps instead of turning on the main light also a small side table to charge phone. Also, the drive way is a shared with the house in the back but, you have 2 personal parking spots.
