Updated Condo < 3 Miles to Broadway at the Beach!

• A Nice Getaway!

  This condo was very nice, quiet, and well taken care of. It was beautifully decorated and provided everything needed. It was so nice that we did not have to worry about toilet paper or cleaning supplies. Complimentary soap and shampoo/conditioner were also provided. We did not use the dishes because we ate out most of the time, but it seems as if almost everything was provided if you needed to cook full meals. Since we were visiting Myrtle Beach for baseball, we really did not take advantage of the resources available. The pool seemed very nice, but it was not warm enough to swim. The condo is located close to a lot of restaurants, stores, and entertainment. The code on the door is also very convenient because you do not have to worry about using a key.

  Unfortunately, the first day of our visit, I was turned off by Myrtle Woods. We booked through Vrbo, but the high school did not. We left NJ at 3:00 am, drove 8 1/2 hours, and we were very tired. Check in time was 4:00 pm but we waited patiently. My husband and I were able to check in at 4:00 pm but other parents who booked directly through Myrtle Woods were not able to get into their condo until almost 6:30 pm. Most of our 15 year old boys were left hanging out in the parking lot of Myrtle Wood until 8:00 pm (after they had been up since 2:00 that morning) waiting for their condos to be ready (so unacceptable!!). There was also another bus load of boys from another school hanging out in the parking lot of the check in office until about 8:00 pm waiting for their condos. Myrtle Woods does not seem to be a reliable vacation destination, and outside of baseball, we would not choose to stay there again if vacationing in Myrtle Beach.

  We thank you for the opportunity for allowing us to stay in this magnificent Condo. our grand kids had a lovely time playing games and putting puzzles together, rides and up side down house. Most of all they enjoyed swimming in the pool. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away for a vacation, I know they will love it.

• Golf vacation

  We are all retired police officers that just wanted to come to MB to play golf and enjoy seeing each other. This place exceeded our expectations. The host and co-host were great and answered all our questions. Would stay again thanks
