Overall great location to stay. My daughter graduated from boot camp. The home was near the base and downtown Beaufort. There was a cute small dog that would visit.

The house itself was not bad. The location was good. There is a neighbor that let's her dogs run loose all day so you will be barked at every time you leave or return to the house. No one cleans up behind them so watch were you walk. The first night there I found two cockroaches in the room I was going to sleep in. In another room one of the guest opens their eyes from sleeping and there was a roach hanging out on their pillow. Water bugs ( look like huge roaches) were bad too. Even after going through all of our stuff to be sure it was roach free as to not carry them home my wife finds one in her car as she was driving back home. I have never rented a home that has had these issues. Owners expect a certain level of clean when you leave, so they should be sure they are renting a place with the same standard. Honestly anything good about this property was ruined night 1 for all of us.

Thank you for staying with us! We are sorry you encountered a few issues that had a negative impact on your stay.
- We are sorry that you found pests in the home during your visit. These critters are indigenous to homes in the low country that sit on the water as this one does. They frequent the area and occasionally enter if doors are left open. They’re not indicative of a lack of cleanliness but instead, they're as common as a housefly in other parts of the country.
- We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues. We treat the property monthly for pests. The property was also deep cleaned prior to your stay. Pest control treatments kill them within 24 hours of them breaching the perimeter of the home but it is impossible to keep them out of the home, particularly with the rainfall we have had in the area lately. As off-putting as these bugs can be, they are simply unavoidable.
We do all we can to ensure the quality of our guest's stay and will be working diligently to prevent these issues from occurring in the future. We thank you for your feedback.
This property was great! Very spacious and clean.

Wonderful property in small neighborhood close to downtown Beaufort and any anywhere else you want to go. The home was very nicely appointed. We love to hear the roar of the engines of the fighter planes taking off and landing nearby

A cute house with nice decor in the bedrooms, especially. Good accommodations with chocolate mints on our bed, coffee with our breakfast, and treats, blanket and bed for the dogs!
It was a little cool because there was no flue blocking the air down the chimney. The side porch looked lovely to use in warmer weather but it needed a lock on the screen door. So when the dogs started barking or we heard a noise we couldn’t tell if someone was peeking in from the porch or not because there were no lights out there... also there were no curtains between kitchen, living room, dining area and the screened porch... great place to visit in the summer but we will not return unless those two problems are fixed!
