Stayed here with three other friends, and the place was just as it shows online. It was exceptionally clean and cozy, and supplies were well stocked. The host Peter and Susan were amazing, they provided excellent information regarding the surrounding locations in the area and made the check in process super easy.

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Beau’s Hideaway as just a couple, getting away before dealing with the holiday season hoopla. The home was comfortable and had additional space we didn’t use (with a master bedroom and full bath on the main floor, we didn’t really need the 2 upstairs bedrooms/full bath/lounge space) so it can certainly accommodate more people. I wouldn’t recommend trying to have more than 5 people there, though. The cabin is deeply set away within its HOA neighborhood so we didn’t see other people or have to worry about noise from neighbors, etc. We used the kitchen extensively and it did have all the tools we needed. Overall, it was a comfortable getaway that fit the bill for a quiet, private country stay without being too far from groceries, Wawa, etc.

We wanted to take a little time away from the city as just a couple before the family hubbub of the holidays, and Beau's Hideaway was a comfortable, cozy choice. We used the small kitchen extensively, but didn't use the upstairs at all, so we weren't optimizing the size of the house but we thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire and using it as a home base for our getaway. There are some charming and thoughtful touches, including a cute pet corner and a stash of hot chocolate pods for the Keurig. As we expected, the house feels a little bit dated with a mauve bathroom etc., but we found it to be very comfortable and the furniture itself was in great condition. Evolve made the check in and check out process very clear and easy, and the owner was helpful and communicative regarding snow removal while we were visiting. If you're looking for an easy escape from Philadelphia or NYC, this house has everything you need and is well-situated in the Poconos.
We enjoyed our stay, however, the property was dirty. The carpets are stained, there are spider webs on light fixtures and on the windows in the house, the furniture is pretty beat up and saggy, the bathtub faucet constantly drips, the screened in porch has screens that are torn open and a raccoon came in one night. Communication with the property contact wasn’t good either. Sent an email asking a question about firewood two weeks prior to arrival and never got a response. When I asked about which restaurants delivered to the address, the response was for me to Google it. Not helpful! Overall, not that happy with the overall experience.

Hi Jason, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
- We've addressed these issues with our cleaning team to ensure that they do not recur for future guests.
- We've recently upgraded the floors in the living room and dining room with new laminate.
- The screens and plumbing in the upstairs bathroom have also been repaired.
Thanks for your valuable feedback!
Came here for a weekend getaway and had a great time with kids. House was clean on arrival. Check in at the entrance took only a few minutes. Loved the enclosed deck area. We spent the nights around the fire and the day by Pine Lake. Would stay here again!
