I will say the apartment was not dirty. It could’ve been a little more clean. The air conditioner for the entire first floor that was in the living room did not work. The temperature did not go above 85. Only time we could spend time downstairs was at night when I could raise the windows to get cool air in. One of the bedrooms had cardboard above the window air conditioner unit. When I got there it was all fallen in. And I was afraid that there may be a bat or a bird in the bedroom. I will say I called and someone came to come fix it within an hour. My other issue was parking is terrible. We had to park two blocks away. The mattress was all stained. And the ceiling is crumbling in the main bedroom the only bedroom with a TV. There also were no face towels or washcloths. There were clean towels. But when offered towels for your stay why wouldn’t I expect that there would be washcloths there as well. Which I did not bring. We made the best of it and made it work. But I probably would never stay here again unless these things were fixed.

We've been staying in AirB&B-type rentals for a long time. Unfortunately this property was not up to the standards we usually find.
This is a very spartan unit with basic maintenance issues. Carpets that need cleaning, and vacuuming, esp. the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms. Not enough coffee for even one pot, hand soap in the dispensers that was clearly watered down. The handle on the cold water faucet in the shower was not attached. Made it very difficult to get it turned on without pliers. The refrigerator is propped up with a block of wood.
We've been in Pittsburgh previously and know there are much better options in the same price range.
Very clean place but sort of scary neighborhood
