  Thank you for allowing us to stay at your rental. It was spacious with a great location, beautiful view of the lake and Boulder ski slope. Plenty of room for 10 guests. Great play and entertaining area for the kids. The projection TV and surround sounds was a nice touch.

  Negatives and issues about the rental:

  It needs to be updated. Outdated furniture, bedding, mattresses, etc. One of the dining chairs has an arm missing and detached.

  Beds were creaky and very uncomfortable. Couches were dirty, dingy and uncomfortable.

  Needs a fresh coat of paint. A lot of empty screw holes in the walls.

  Mold in the master bathroom shower.

  Multiple beer bottle caps found, and an open beer bottle found by one of the kids.

  Needs a good cleaning. A thick layer of dust under the staircase going to the main floor. Dust and dirt in the lower level. Dust, dirt, and misc other things in corners of multiple rooms.

  Televisions were outdated.

  Shower curtains had pink mildew.

  One of the bedrooms was listed with a Queen and Full bed. It was a Queen and box springs bed. That room should not be considered to have two beds. That was deceiving. We had to rearrange the sleeping arrangements since that was not a bed to be slept on.

• Lots of Room, lots of potential

  We found this home after a last minute cancellation in area. Located as the closest home to Big Boulder Mountain, this spacious home has lots of room for many guests of all sizes (we were 4 adults and 5 children). The kids especially enjoyed all the room as they had many areas to play away from the adults. The home has huge windows with plenty of natural light coming in. The windows include views of the lake and of the mountain. If you are a skier the location cannot be beat. If you are coming during the summer season, as we did, it is a bit of a walk to the lake club but a short drive (3 minutes). The lake club features a swimming area and pool, along with boating rentals. The air conditioning of the home is outstanding as it keeps every room at a nice cool temperature.

  So, some of the potential of the house can be some added outdoor entertaining areas. The deck they have a little small to accommodate all the room the home features. There is a back door that leads to just the hill area. If permitted this area would be wonderful space to have some seats, fire pit, string lighting etc. The movie room and game area is just inside so it would be easy to keep an eye on any children. The kitchen is also a little tight for a big group. The home features many home entertainment options: movie theaters, TVs, etc but a big improvement would be to include a manual on how to operate everything. The wifi was a bit spotty at times too, for those of you that might try to work from there. The seating and mattresses for the home aren’t the comfiest, so that can use an upgrade.

  We did enjoy our stay. There are plenty of areas to walk and bike, lots of restaurants close by and lots of other places of interested within 20-30 minutes. The natural beauty of the area is a huge selling point. You will see plenty of deer too. And at the end of the day, you have a huge home to come back to. The community was also very friendly including the staff at the Lake club.
