  If you’re skiing Jack Frost, the location of this unit can’t be beat with just a few steps to the hill.

  The house is very basic and not particularly well kept or well appointed.

  The main surfaces were clean (floors, counters, toilets, linens) but baseboards, light fixtures, etc were caked with dust and hair.

  Despite the location, it’s not well setup for skiing. No place to hang up wet ski clothes or take off boots without making a huge mess inside. No place to securely leave equipment inside or outside.

  Kitchen supplies are very basic and sparse. Place settings for 4-5 people max. No cutting boards, no baking sheets or oven safe pans, etc. If you plan to cook, be prepared to get creative or bring your own supplies.

  Several lights were burnt out and the fireplace didn’t work for us. There is a hole in a bathroom door and missing towel bar. Overall, it doesn’t feel like anyone is looking after this place too closely. If you don’t plan to spend much time in the unit itself, the location for skiing can’t be beat.

  Hi George, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  "We are glad you enjoyed the location of our home, with how close it is to Jack Frost!
  - Our professional cleaners ensure the home is ready before the check-in of each guest. Thank you for bringing to our attention that additional cleaning of the baseboards and light fixtures was needed. Upon your request, we did offer to have our cleaning team come out.
  - There is a deck in the front and rear of the home that we encourage guests to use after returning from the slopes. The closet near the front door can be used for ski clothes. We recommend using plastic bags on the floor for any wet items.
  - We start the season by providing kitchen supplies. However, we have noticed some items missing later in the season, which we can look into.
  - We were unaware of the broken towel rack. Guests are urged to reach out with any questions or concerns during their stay. Some items we can have repaired quickly.
  It is our pleasure to welcome guests into our home, and offer this at a very competitive rate. Thank you for taking the time to write your review."
