A relaxing weekend away

When we originally rented the home we were looking forward to a long weekend ski trip. Mother Nature hasn’t been the most cooperative this ski season- our gang was only able to get out for one day of skiing but the home had more than enough amenities to keep everyone occupied. The home was clean, cozy and well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room was a great hang out for the college age members of our group.

Our family had such an enjoyable time. This property offers a great location full of many options for activities, enjoyed wild life activity morning and evenings. The property is equipped to be self contained with entertainment options which we enjoyed during inclement weather. Built great memories and great family bonds. We'll visit again for sure. Fantastic, Peaceful and Enjoyable Experience!

What a lovely location! The house is clean with inviting decor. The owners decorated nicely for the holidays presenting a festive feel for our family fun.

The kitchen is open allowing access to all areas of the house especially the dining and living room spaces during the cooking and prep phases. So the "cook" can stay engaged with family fun as needed.

The living room space is big and roomy for entertaining....my family enjoyed the game room and outdoor spaces. The wild life is plentiful and great. We were able to hand feed the deer, very cool.

Beds are comfortable...Hot tub was fab!

There is plenty to do for year round fun and entertainment or just stay around the house for a restful experience, enjoying what the property offers.

Grocery store "ShopRite" is about 7 miles away...and boy can you find many treats here. You can cook a gourmet meal or gets something ready to heat and eat that would be equally fabulous. Nice Italian restaurant next door for eat out options.

We visited the "Poke-A-Nose" pottery shop super fun and they will ship your items to you.

Another great down home type of restaurant is the Jubilee about 10 miles away. Well worth it for some dining out experiences breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Would definitely visit this location and rental property again.

A nice stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The foliage of the trees surrounding the home was beautiful, there were plenty of beautiful deer to wake up to, the game room was a fun touch and the living room was nice and cozy.The owner was wonderfully responsive and accommodating and granted us a late check out which we really appreciated.The home is a bit far from a grocery store (about 30 mins) and the kitchen was lightly stocked (no aluminum foil, no sugar, no paper towels, only a few spices, no ice, etc) and we love to cook! It would’ve been helpful to know exactly what we needed to bring beforehand.The kitchen and dining room floor were a bit sticky but the rest of the house was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was pretty basic - the jets didn’t have much pressure and it didn’t get as hot as we’d like, but it was still relaxing nonetheless. The wood burning stove, although advertised, was not available for use, but there was a nice heater in the corner with flames that warmed the room up quickly.We didn’t get to use the grill or gazebo but I loved it’s charm and the way it looked!It’s not a completely private backyard, you can see folks from the street and vice versa, but it’s a great size. The ceilings in the living room are very high which makes it feel wonderfully spacious. It was just my Partner and I celebrating our anniversary. We rent often and enjoyed our stay, it could just do with some minor touchups as noted. Thank you for being a wonderful host!
