• A house that could use some TLC

  Property is lacking care and cleaning. There’s a door falling off the hinge another door that somebody punched a hole in, kitchen drawer missing most lightbulbs don’t work. We have to pay a cleaning fee and whoever is doing the cleaning is making out because obviously they’re not cleaning. There was no shampoo nor soap to take a shower and toiletries consisted of some bath towels, no hand towels, no wash cloths.

  If somebody actually went in there, gave this place a good cleaning repair, the property may then be worth it . There a drawer with snacks in it that the mice are enjoying.

  A cozy cottage with everything present. We had a great time. Would recommend more towels. Some minor repairs needed in kitchen. We left an artificial Christmas tree in the closet for future use by your guests.

• Nice option for family gathering

  My family rented this property for a Thanksgiving gathering. All things considered, we were pleased with the property. The community is very nice and quiet, and it is also very walkable. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of the guest contact when I called her with a pre-trip question about the availability of the grill. She said she would be going to the property shortly and would check it out. She called back in about an hour and reported that the grill was in rough shape so she called the owner, who promptly said they would get a new grill set up prior to our arrival and they did! Great response. The rooms are generously sized and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked well with good quality dishes, glasses, pots, and pans. On the other hand, a number of these were found to be dirty and had to be washed before we used them. In addition, there are so many dishes and glasses that there was no room to store any of the food that we brought. One of the kitchen drawers was missing the front panel, and there was also some minor physical damage in the house, like holes in the doors of the ground floor bathroom, holes in the screens on the back porch, and a wobbly banister on the stairs from the ground floor to the first. (I also would suggest finding a way to add banisters or hand holds of some kind for the upper portion of those stairs.) We were split somewhat on how to rate the property; most were comfortable with a 4-5. Overall we had a good experience and would rent this home again.
