Very uncomfortable stay
2/5 We've never been to this property before and it's a gated community, tried calling the number listed and the man answered and said he doesn't take care of the property. Not sure if that was accurate or the number listed was just incorrect. We finally get to the house which is about 80 degrees inside with one small fan. The rooms all had the heat on 55, not sure why because it's summer. The fireplace was on and kicking out heat, no idea how to turn that off. We luckily brought 2 fans with us, but they only slightly helped, still sweating and uncomfortable. The tv remotes batteries were dying/dead, so we couldn't use the tv. The floors were dirty.. our 10 month old was crawling on the floor and picked him up to find his knees all black. Our feet were black just from walking in the house. Needs a nice mopping! It was overall unpleasant stay. Very uncomfortable. Glad to be home to air conditioning because that was extremely hot.

We wish you had reached out to us directly during your stay so we could have addressed any concerns you had right away. I am not sure why the contact number was not valid when you tried reaching out. There are three fans located in the front closet. I do apologize about the floors being dirty, I will work with the cleaning crew to make sure they focus on cleaning those better between guests. There is also a cut-off switch for the fireplace to turn it off, but it usually becomes cool at night and people will often turn up the fireplace to 60-70. I am sorry it was so warm during your stay. Albrightville is one of the highest points in the Poconos.”
5/5 This is a small home that covers all the basics. The kitchen has new appliances and the necessary items you might need. We particularly enjoyed watching the deer that came within a few feet of the house. It was a quiet neighborhood and would be suitable for a couple or small family.
