Cozy Mountain Lodge
5/5 This cozy mountain lodge has all the amenities for a wonderful getaway no matter the season! It is actually a 5 bedroom home, complete with a pool table, a loft with a poker table and futon, a hot tub under the stars, a fire pit, and a well stocked kitchen. It has a great open living space which we enjoyed for meals and games. There were plenty of towels for 10 guests and lots of soft throw blankets. The owner Paul is excellent with communication and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The location was perfect for us, nestled between the ski resorts, and I imagine it would be beautiful in the fall. We would definitely recommend and rebook.

Fantastic house
5/5 Paul’s home is great for a getaway or to meet with friends. The house offers lots of space, fun activities, and is close to many attractions. 10/10 recommend.
Beautiful house with bad Owner
2/5 House was a beautiful house but the owner Paul is very annoying and stressful. His interactions prior to my trip made me consider canceling my booking. The gates entrance for renters need to be a little better, always a long line to get to the property

Hi Shevon, We always love hearing from our guests, but we were surprised to receive your feedback and wanted to clarify your interaction with the homeowner: Travelers can see on the listing before they book that large events and parties are not permitted at this property. The owner still tried to work with you when you let them know that you planned on having a birthday event that would nearly double the max occupancy of the home. Unfortunately, you were not willing to discuss what a reasonable event fee would be, despite the owner suggesting multiple options for a compromise or a solution. Of course we want guests to enjoy their stay, but we also expect them to respect the property and the policies they agreed to when they made their reservation. We're confident that the homeowner will continue to do everything they can to provide their guests with a great experience moving forward!
