  • No air conditioning

    It was 95 degrees outside and it was even hotter inside the cottage. We were not advised about this. We were communicating with evolve the whole time but they did not warn us about this. It is a health hazard esp if you have hypertension you can have a stroke in that heat. And my husband has high blood pressure. We could have change our plan and move it another day if we knew.

    The big windows make you feel like you're on the beach but cozy and warm inside. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet and clean. Love how everything is in one big room.

  • Sibling get away

    The directions were very clear but we didn't notice that we put in the Sanderling Sea Cottages address. The directions tell you not to do this. We found it. The unit we had was A. 2nd floor. The stairs are on the outside. What a great place! The place was very clean. Water pressure very good. We did take the futon mattress and put it on the floor. More comfortable for sure. We visited family in Seal Rock and found things to do every day. Whales in DePoe Bay, sea lions in Waldport, amazing food and breweries. Why did it take all these years to make it to Oregon.

  • Can’t beat the views

    This place is stunning, big, and peaceful! My husband’s favorite part is cooking while looking at the waves. My kids adore the loft. I relaxing on the big couch overlooking the ocean. We will be back for a third time for sure.

    House is right on the highway which is easy access. The views with the morning fog were amazing. Wish the steam part of the shower worked. Bed was comfortable.
