• Very nice house close to the ocean

  The house is overall a nice place to stay. It is very close to the beach and easy access to the water. If you are a downstairs guest, be prepared to hear everything above you. The room was nice and the bed was comfy, but it was so noisy. The main portion of the house was nice a roomie and I like that there was a bathroom on every floor. Upstairs was nice but again if you are in the staying in the loft, just know you are up when the rest of the house is up.

  We were very pleased with the house. It accomadated all of us and we enjoyed the game room, ping pong table and the wall of windows to watch the ocean. The only thing that we miss was there were no kitchen towels.

  The house was nice and clean. The wall of windows was great to view the ocean and plenty of furniture to relax on. It was fun to play ping pong and shuffleboard in the game room.

  Great view of the ocean and easy beach access. Plenty of beds and space for our family. Loved the game room on the day that was too windy to be on the beach. Only concerns were the lack of toilet paper and garbage bags....the bathrooms had about a third of a roll each, with no second roll waiting and there was only 1 garbage bag for our 4 night stay. Overall, a nice place to stay.

• Super disappointed

  Disappointed in the cleanliness, upstairs bed is like sleeping in a bowl, carpets are filthy,no remote to the TV upstairs so the family couldn't watch movies together. Things are falling apart. Pucks are broken on the shuffleboard And for the $200 cleaning fee I expect it to be clean and to not have to take out the trash strip the beds start the dishwasher and towels why am I paying a $200 fee.

  Hi Jennifer, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -We use a professional cleaning company to ensure that the home is cleaned and sanitized between guests and we are confident that the home met our high cleanliness standards before your check-in
  -Mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past, however, we apologize that you were not completely comfortable and that these specific mattresses did not suit your personal preference. While the upstairs mattress is less than a year old they may not be a perfect fit for every preference, however, they are one of the most approved in the market
  -The homeowners let us know that the carpet and padding were deep cleaned less than 6 months ago to prepare for the summer season
  -The remote is on-site and all of the TVs in the home were working before and after your check-in
  -We apologize for the issues you encountered with the shuffleboard pucks, we have since replaced them, and shouldn't be an issue going forward
  -The checkout requirements are standard within the vacation rental industry but we're sorry if you were surprised by these
  -The cleaning fee is only charged per stay and the cleaner will only clean the property once. We strive to be transparent at every stage of the booking process, so all rates and fees are broken down for travelers before they confirm their reservation
  Although you did not enjoy your stay, we're confident future guests will have a wonderful visit to our home!
