Gorgeous Home
4/5 We really loved the house. We were a group of 4 women attending a conference in town. 2 traveling up from California and 2 living in Grants Pass. We were thrilled with the rooms having our own bathrooms and the privacy we each had. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The access to 2 of the bedrooms is from outside the house, one off the deck and one around the side of the house, so while that was a bit tricky in the rain, it allow us to be in our own spaces without worrying about bothering the other ladies.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the hot tub was green and so dirty you could not see the bottom. I arrived at 9pm and looked at it the next morning. I called the contact person at 7am and she was very nice, apologizing, and said she would contact the owner and call me back. I did not hear all that day and called again the next day. This time no response and no one ever came to clean the tub. We were planning on using it throughout the 4 days we were there and wished that had been taken care of.
Manager's Response:
From the owner: "We are very sorry that the hot tub was not clean during your stay. This is an exception and outlier for us and the guests staying at our property. We were dealing with a personal emergency at the time of this stay. The guest contact alerted us in a timely manner, but due to the emergency were unable to respond promptly. We have changed our hot tub service/cleaning provider and will follow up with you to provide a partial refund since the hot tub wasn't ready for your enjoyment. We apologize for this inconvenience and have put measures in place to ensure the hot tub is always sparkling clean. Thank you for letting us know about your stay!"
