Absolutely wonderful place with a great owner that answered any phone call, text or message I had for him.

Spiderwebs in bedroom windows, large webs. Spouse worried spiders would get in her hair as she slept. One room stank foul, like a nursing home. I suspect a dead animal of some excused themselves in there. Back of cabin smells bad, something that will keep me from returning.

Hi Terry, we followed up with the homeowner, and they wanted to share the following: We pride ourselves on hosting great stays and upholding the highest standards of hospitality so our guests have 5-star experiences!
- We value the cleanliness and condition of the cabin and sincerely apologize for the cobwebs and the smell that you found in the rear of the cabin. The cobwebs were addressed by the cleaning staff and we appreciate you bringing that to our attention. Our cleaning staff prides themselves on professionally servicing the cabin and we apologize for any oversight that occurred by our staff. To ensure efficiency, we do have a pest control company come to inspect and treat our cabin on a quarterly basis.
- As the cabin is located in the woods, it's prevalent for wild animals to live and travel around our cabin on a frequent basis which could cause the smell. Upon your departure, the cleaning staff and our property manager checked out the smell and could not locate any odor throughout the cabin.
We hope you enjoyed Ruidoso and the beautiful nature that the area provides. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays at our home.
Would stay again
